ORHC to Host Breast Cancer Walk
October 09, 2025Ottumwa Regional Health Center will host its 5th Annual Breast Cancer Walk on Saturday, October 11, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on the hospital campus. The walk brings the community together to support patients, honor survivors, and promote the importance of early detection and breast health education. Breast cancer is the second most common cancer among women in the United States. Early detection through screenings such as mammograms, clinical exams, and self-checks dramatically improves outcomes and saves lives. The walk provides a visible platform for the community to engage with this important message and encourages participants to take an active role in their health.
