Healthy Choice: Workplace Health & Wellness Programs at Ottumwa Regional Health Center has been an innovator in the field of health and wellness for over 25 years, serving companies in Southeast Iowa. Health insurance has historically existed to take care of the sick and the injured, but has not addressed the need to help individuals maintain or improve their health. Healthy Choice offers a line of services that focuses on the individual. Through wellness screening and coaching we guide participants to healthy lifestyles and lead them to a higher quality of life.

Comprehensive Intervention Based Wellness – Package A

  • Blood Chemistry Profile (22 different tests)
  • Resting Blood Pressure and Heart Rate
  • Body Mass Index (Height and Weight)
  • Body Composition Analysis
  • Waist Circumference Measurement
  • Health Risk Assessment (Online)
  • Personal One-on-One Consultation (Initial)
    • Goal Setting/Health Coaching (Initial)
    • Health Coaching (3 Quarterly Follow-ups)
  • 6 month Cholesterol recheck for elevated levels

Reports Included:

  • Individual report to employee
  • Group aggregate annual report to employer

Comprehensive Intervention Based Wellness – Package B
