OTTUMWA — Ottumwa Regional Health Center has announced the appointment of Lindsey Stice as the new director of the Ottumwa Regional Wound Center.
Stice has been a member of ORHC since 2012, with extensive experience at Ottumwa Primary Care and the Ottumwa Health Group Clinics. Last November, she joined the Ottumwa Regional Wound Center and quickly found a strong connection to its mission of helping patients heal.
“I’ve truly valued the opportunities ORHC has given me to grow and advance in my career,” Stice said in a press release. “I’m honored to take on this leadership role and help grow the practice. The work we do at the Wound Center is life-changing, and it’s incredibly rewarding to witness healing firsthand.”
The Ottumwa Regional Wound Center specializes in treating chronic and non-healing wounds with a patient-centered approach, improving outcomes and enhancing quality of life for patients across the region.
“It is with great excitement that I welcome Lindsey into her role as director of our Wound Clinic,” said Bryan Harkness, chief nursing officer at ORHC. “During her time as interim leader, she demonstrated exceptional leadership and a clear vision for the future. I am confident Lindsey is the right person to lead the unit forward and continue delivering high-quality wound care services to the southeast Iowa region.”
As the wound center continues to grow, the team is also expanding. ORHC is currently hiring both RNs and LPNs for the wound clinic. These positions offer a weekday-only schedule with four 10-hour shifts.
