Ottumwa Women’s Health Clinic to Host Chamber Mixer Open House

and Ribbon Cutting


(Ottumwa, IA) – Ottumwa Women’s Health Clinic is hosting an open house to celebrate the opening of their new office location on Thursday May 10 from 4:30-6:00pm with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 5:15pm. Attendees can meet providers, take tours, and enjoy refreshments. The new office is at 931 Pennsylvania Ave., Ottumwa, on the west side of the hospital campus in a separate building, making access easier.

Ottumwa Women’s Health Clinic, formerly known as Ottumwa OB/GYN, has been serving the community for the past 40 years. Our Board certified and board eligible OB/GYN’s Dr. Garner, Dr. Bittner, Dr. Johnson, and Dr. JeanSimon and nurse practitioners Laura Waddell, NP and Lori Wells, NP provide comprehensive women’s health services for all ages. Services include complete pregnancy care, menopausal transitions, teenage gynecology, birth control options, pelvic exams, PAP smears, STD testing, urine prolapse, and urinary incontinence.

The Ottumwa Women’s Health Clinic is backed by the full service Ottumwa Regional Health Center’s Women & Family Center. The birth center also has the area’s only Level II nursery, with24 hour Pediatric coverage by a Board Certified provider, and delivers nearly 500 babies a year.
