“We havmick-7e no desire to go anywhere else for our care.”-Molly Mick

When Molly Mick and her husband, Neal decided to start a family, Ottumwa OB/GYN was the obvious choice. The women in Molly’s family have trusted the board certified OB/GYNs there for generations. “I have so much confidence in the doctors there,” Molly said. “Dr. Alons and staff have been there with me through my best and worst times.”
That level of trust has continued with the births of both daughters, Annemarie and most recently, Grace, at Ottumwa Regional Health Center’s Women & Family Unit. “We had a wonderful experience with each birth,” said Molly. “The attention we received, the bedside manner of the nurses both as first time and returning parents made us feel confident and safe. All the education we received was excellent; the certified lactation consultants answered all of my questions about breastfeeding.”
As a father and husband, Neal was impressed with the inclusiveness he felt while at ORHC. “I was encouraged to be there and be a part of the experience,” he said.
“But at the same time, I knew if I needed to step out, they would be safe.”
The warm memories they have of the births of their children will always be with them. “We have no desire to go anywhere else for our care,” says Molly. “It’s definitely ORHC!”
