OTTUMWA, IA – Ottumwa Regional Health Center and Alliant Energy have joined Dizzy in her efforts to get kids moving this fall with her Dizzercise classes.  The Healthy Kids Kick-Off with Dizzy will take place on Tuesday, September 10 from 5 – 7 p.m. at North HyVee.

Kids will have the opportunity to register for the classes at the kick-off, try out a smoothie from the smoothie bar and participate in a free Dizzercise class.  There will also be nurses on hand to check heart rate and blood pressure, as well as a dietician to answer any questions.

The Dizzercise classes will take place at the YMCA this Fall with the Preschool/Kindergarten sessions beginning on September 18 from 4:00 – 4:30 p.m., and will run for six weeks every Wednesday at this time, ending October 23.  The sessions for elementary age children will begin September 21 from 9:00 – 9:45 a.m., and will run for six weeks every Saturday at this time, ending October 26. Each session is limited to 25 children, so pre-registration is recommended.
