ribbon-cuttingToday, the EasyCare Walk-In Clinic had it’s official grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony. Ottumwa Regional Health Center first opened its first in-store medical clinic on August 15 at the North Hy-Vee grocery store, located at 2453 N. Court St. in Ottumwa. The EasyCare Walk-In Clinic is the second convenient care clinic opened in the Ottumwa area by ORHC. The Ottumwa Walk-In Clinic, located at 1255 Theatre Dri
ve, is another fast access point for patient care.
“This clinic and the Ottumwa Walk-In Clinic on the south side serve as a complement to primary care services and help provide additional access when patients cannot immediately see their usual provider,” said Phil Noel, CEO of Ottumwa Regional Health Center. “We have been thrilled by the number of patients who’ve chosen the EasyCare Walk-In Clinic since it opened. It’s clear the convenience of having the clinic located in the Hy-Vee store makes things simpler for the community. We are honored to give the people of southeast Iowa another great option for accessible health care.”
Just like the Ottumwa Walk-In Clinic, the EasyCare Walk-In Clinic is staffed by advanced nurse practitioners and offers treatment with no appointment for non-life threatening conditions to patients over 6 months of age, for conditions such as sore throats, sinus infections, colds and flu, minor cuts and sprains, skin rashes and episodic care. Both clinics have extended hours and are open on the weekends.
